The Board of Education is planning to revise the existing district-wide homework policy. As part of the process, schools have been invited to give feedback. Nixon school will gather this feedback at the PTA general meeting on Wednesday, February 15, immediately following the “Take Your Family to School Breakfast” at 8:15.

If you would like to give input, please attend.

Join us for  Bring Your Family to School week, February 13-15.  Read or share a fun activity in your child’s classroom (please contact your child’s teacher to schedule), bring your lunch, eat and play with your child between 11:30 and 12:25 at the normal school lunch break. You are also invited to join us for breakfast in the theater on Wednesday, February 15 at 7:30. If one parent already spends a lot of time at school, this is a great chance for the other one to participate. See you at school!

Experience live theatre!  See Nixon students perform “The Flying Prince” on stage this week — Thurs 2/2 at 4:30, Fri 2/3 at 7pm and Sat 2/4 at 2pm. Tickets can be purchased at the door in advance or from the Palo Alto Children’s Theatre (Tues-Sat 2-6pm, 463-4970).
