Last year we lost a beloved member of our school community, Jan Krinsley, who taught at Nixon for 17 years. We are giving students the opportunity to create a wall of art in her memory, on the exterior wall of her former classroom.
This “Call for Ideas” is a chance for students of all ages to express their creativity with a community art piece in Jan’s memory. We are looking for a concept that will enable many students to participate in the making of the artwork. Click here for details about the project & how to submit your ideas. Entries are due by January 3rd, 2012, to the Nixon Main Office.
Anyone is welcome to submit ideas for this project, please spread the word to other former students of Jan’s of all ages. Parents and teachers interested in being part of the project team please contact Larisa Usich.
