You can also go to the PAUSD Community Advisory Committee (CAC) for Special Education website. CAC is a volunteer group of parents in the Palo Alto that provides advice to the school district’s special education administrators and the board of education on matters pertaining to special education. They provide parent education through various monthly programs and through published handbooks and a newsletter, Special EDition. They also provide parent support through a hotline and sponsored events.

CAC’s work is independent from the school district in order to best advocate for our special needs children and are funded completely through donations and fund-raising events.
