INTERNATIONAL NIGHT

Around the World in 3½ hours!

Cultural Booths: 4:30–6:30pm
International Buffet: 5:30–7:00pm
International Entertainment: 6:30-8:00pm

On Friday, May 21st from 4:30 – 8:00 pm, come and join Nixon families as we celebrate the rich diversity of our community. Guests will enjoy cultural booths from the 25+ countries represented that evening. All kids will receive a passport that they can get stamped as they visit and explore the exciting display booths. Cultural booths will be open from 4:30 – 6:30 pm.

The International Pot Luck Buffet features many dishes from around the world. We welcome you to bring a favorite food from your heritage or homeland to add to the buffet. If you choose to bring a dish, please complete the form below and return it to the front office by Monday, May 17th. Main dishes are preferred. Please provide nut free products so that our students with allergies can enjoy them as well. (Please bring food in reusable, recyclable or compostable containers). The cost of the International Buffet is $5 per person. The Buffet opens at 5:30 pm.

The 5th grade Activities Committee will be selling pizza, desserts and drinks. This is separate from the International Buffet and is for an additional charge. Proceeds from this sale help fund the 5th grade promotion activities.

Make sure your kids have their flag(s) for the parade! After dinner, the kids will march from the theater bleachers, around the kindergarten playground area, to the performance area—just in time for the entertainment.

Enjoy music and dance from around the world. We have entertainment that will astound and amaze you! Entertainment and Musical Performances are from 6:30 – 8:00 pm.
