We made over $20,000 for Nixon!
If you were unable to attend the auction you sure missed a rockin’ great time! The live auction was exciting as there was lively bidding. The surprise prize donations were the highlight of the night, and afterward, many of us stayed and played blackjack and just had fun talking with other families. With the help of our Nixon community, sponsors and patrons, our goals were met and we made over $20,000! These proceeds are going immediately back to the school for purchasing Smart Boards and other instructional supplies.
We’d like to extend our gratitude to everyone who donated their time and items. If you happen to find yourself in the store of one of our ad sponsors be sure to let them know you saw them in our catalog!
For those who didn’t get the chance to sign up for some of our parties and teacher donations, here is your chance! There are still some events that you can sign up for online!
One last note… Please observe the “PTA AUCTION RESERVED PARKING” spot in the Nixon parking lot (Visitor’s side). It was auctioned off and purchased this semester and next by two different families. Please, DO NOT PARK IN THAT SPOT. If someone else picks your child up please tell them not to park in that spot.
