Are you wondering what you and your family can do to help the people of Haiti? Here’s a great way to make a difference!

1. Gather as many items as you can and donate them to Nixon’s Haitian Relief Garage Sale.  Your gently used books, toys, furniture, and household items are welcome.  We’d like to limit clothing items to outerwear and like new baby and children’s clothing.  Please contact us prior to donating electronic items.  No TVs or computers. Thanks!
2. Bring them to the Nixon Theater before or after school on January 25-29th.  Your donations are tax deductible and we will have receipts in the Theater.
3. Come to the Sale on Saturday, January 30th, from 9 am to 2 pm!

This event is sponsored by the Nixon PTA. Proceeds will be donated to Operation Rainbow to fund medical supplies for use in Haiti.  This organization is on the ground there now.  Find out more at OperationRainbow.org and KCBS.
